No Practice

Due to incredible bouts of klutz, I've managed to very mildly twist an ankle (the good one) and smack my knee (the bad one) on the coffee table over the last 2.5 days. Between that and my general lethargy, no practice for me. Driving 30+ minutes each way for an hour practice I may not be able to skate is bad economics. I just remembered that I won't be attending practice Friday due to the ballet, but oh well.... I'll just hit class and practice extra hard over the weekend. For now, I ice my knee and watch Faith pretend to be Buffy. Cleaning might ensue.

What's up

Skipped dance class tonight. Too much jumping with a different teacher on Monday led to me leaving practice after 15 minutes on Tuesday due to knee pain. Time to get back on the PT wagon I fell off of back in September.

Work is crazy. I have projects looming over me, but they are all in the hands of other people, so I hurry up and wait. It's the nature of the beast, but still....

It's just been one of those weeks. I lost my bus pass, the latest in a long series of me losing or temporarily misplacing things. Second place in the line-up, which includes keys and purse, belongs to a bag of groceries. Yes, really.

This weekend will not be a rest. The speed team is hosting a meet and I'm Competitive Steward. The bad part is that we start both days at 5:30AM and on Sunday we won't get out until about 5:00PM. Yeesh. I'm glad we've got so many competing, it just means limited down time for me this weekend

I should sleep now. Only 2 more days to go, thank the gods.
