For all my glitter-junkie friends, from the Seattle PI (http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/lifestyle/290128_tf227.html).
"The mother of vintage sales is happening next weekend. That's right, retro-babies, it's time for the annual Goodwill Glitter Sale. On Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Nov. 5 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., lovers of all things shiny and used will flock to the Goodwill Seattle store (1400 S. Lane St., near Rainier and Dearborn) to score deals on pretty trinkets and treasures.
We know people who know people on the inside, so we can give you two big scoops.
First, Goodwill staffers actually hoard glittery stuff all year long for this sale, so the stock won't have been picked over already.
Second, you need to line up early. Like, 4:30 a.m. early.
All proceeds benefit Goodwill's free job-training and education programs, so don't pout. It's for a good cause. For more information visit seattlegoodwill.org."
