Apr. 20th, 2002 12:11 pmOkay, now that the dogs have gotten off of me I can type (you try typing with 2 large dogs looking for attention, with the smaller of the 2 halfway on your lap). I had a nice long walk with the dogs and they are now nice and worn out. Dogs, like children, are often bestest when sleeping.
In other news, this morning I finished devouring the latest Larel K Hamilton/Merry Gentry book. Mmmmm smutty pulp. If she keeps this up I might learn to like Merry, seeing as she is actually growing a spine. The side chartacters and the internal politicking are also getting more interesting, which is keeping me reading. I'm still really fond of Hamiliton's discussion about different fey cultures, as it appeals to the anthro geek in me. All in all it was a good read, not brilliant, but fun.
Anyone want to borrow?
Beyond that I have done nothing useful yet, I have another book from the Sci Fi Book Club to read (it was buy 1 get 1 free month) and that encapsulates my plans for the weekend. Books, skating, and sleep are all good.
