Today

I gave my presentation and it went fabulously. This means I managed to sound competent and didn't get ripped apart afterwards, which is all I really wanted. At this rate I might be able to write a competent essay on the role of ethnicity in the conflict in the Former Yugoslavia. Honestly I am now thankful I took that awful speech class as an undergrad. I can get through almost anything now and at least SOUND confident.
I see this as payoff for useless time spent yesterday on the Tube. Brian and I got stuck in a traffic jam on the way out to Essex. We never made it there and hence I didn't get to skate. The traffic in Walthemsow was so bad it made national news. We are talking east side Seattle at rush hour with a major accident bad here (i.e. not moving on bit).
Also today I completed a new resume and picked up all the reading for Anthro 404. Now I just have to go read some of them before class tomorrow morning. Wheeeeeee
Food, food also sounds really good right now. Maybe I'll go home and get some.

I have been looking for this contribution list to peacekeeping that I remeber seeing within the last year and a half for over an hour now. Gods am I sad
