Frelling Power Outage
Jan. 14th, 2003 10:55 amThe power went out for a good portion of Butler's Wharf last night at 10:30, waking me up, because my music shut off and frelling up my sleep pattern. When I left at 8:30am it still wasn't on. I have a paper to write, which I was going to do in the BW labs, as they are warm and quiet. Instead I'm in in an LSE lab, freezing to death and unable to concentrate because I'm cold. This paper is due tomorrow by 5pm and the panic is setting in. Unfortunately so is the stiffness in my joints. I have class at 4 and I'm hoping just to have 2 or 3 paragraphs typed up by then. Typing with gloves on makes my usual slow typing speed even slower. I do not do well in cold rooms, which is what the LSE seems to specialize in. I have yet to find one on-campus lab that is warm. Even the library is cold, plus the network there is dead slow.
