So after my little rant I went into problem-solve mode (honestly I was half-way there when I started to rant). I flew upstairs, grabbed a shower, tossed on clothes, assembled my skate bag, and ran out the door. Crossed over the bridge, picked up my day pass and caught the 15 up to school. Luckily the article I needed from the book was only 7 pages long, so I got over to the East Building, copied it, returned the book, got back on the bus, and headed back to the DLR. The grand tour. *grimice*
Then I skated. A lot. This practice is getting so many people at it. This week Sutton Atkins was there. Distinguishing feature: TALL, even in the skater crowd (myself not withstanding). No wonder he was so good, the guy's legs nearly come to my shoulder. We also have a couple of kids up from Leicester who are GOOD, as in they can keep up with the big boys. *shakes head* Amazing.
After practice I went home for approximately 2 minutes. This is long enough to dump out my bag, grab a piece of green pepper (to supplement my PowerBar lunch) and the grocery list to head to Tesco. One thing to say about shopping: Tesco + Sunday = Bad Idea. The place was a zoo, but I got my food.
I had grand plans to go to the library today and pick up a few articles I really need, but honestly the "detour" this morning was too much. I'm absolutely knackered (to quote Nick). I've spent the last hour and half watching the the end of Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey and an episode of Stargate SG-1. Yeah, I'm feeling that brainless. So, the plan is dinner, catch-up reading, and the Sunday Night Movie at 8. I'll just go to school early tomorrow and get the articles then.
