There go my plans
Apr. 21st, 2003 04:53 pmI was going to go see No Man's Land and Three Kings today. I went downstairs before noon to read an article and half-watch a kids movie on TV (I tend to concentrate better with noise in the background, an no internet to distract me). When 2:30 came around, I decided I'd rather skip the first movie and finish my article. Now it's 5:00, I've read two 20+ page articles about citizenship and I'm seriously thinking about just not leaving the house today and starting work on my Levi-Strauss paper. While I want to see the movies, the warm fuzzy feeling I'm getting at having accomplished something is a smidge better methinks. I can always rent the films on video when i get home and besides, if I can't hit the library between films, there's really no point.
Now for some quality internet, and food time, then back to work.
