Mostly Unproductive Day

Got up, ate, showered, dressed, packed up and watched ER. Did a bit of reading.

After ER, went got money, got bus pass and went to school.

Got to school, dropped off ton of books, then had lunch and lovely conversation with Jules and Tom. Got invited to random party on Saturday to help stave off Jules' ex. She's on the mere beginning level of the group drama that we have perfected.

After lunch, went back to library to find out that someone has nicked a book I need, so I have to find it somewhere else. Got 4 more books, nicked a piece of chalk from Clement House and headed over to rdg's place. Your shower is now finished and windows are shut. It's all good. Did a bit of reading.

After that decided I had enough time to run home, slam some food and make the 8:40 showing of The Matrix Reloaded over at Surrey Quays. Since I had to pick up somethings up at Tesco, it was a good time to go. Will write a review post in a bit, but suffice to say I enjoyed myself.

Now I'm home with a gargantuan mug of tea and a scone. Things are okay.

The Matrix Reloaded

This will be fairly spotty notes of things I noticed/liked/disliked more than a review because (a)I'm tired and (b)I need to discuss it with real people to get my thoughts straight, seeing it again might help too.

I'm sure I could come up with more to say, but it's past 1am, my tea is gone and I need sleep. Yes I liked the movie, yes I would like to see it again, but that will have to wait until I come home.

Skirt Update 3.0

Well it's done. I just need to re-press it, get rid of some excess fabric, pull it on and go dance away.

Ended up having to hem it the quick and dirty way, rather than a more invisible method (quick and dirty is still pretty invisible, just not totally), not because I didn't have the time or patience, but because I lack thread. I used up nearly all my strong black doing this and if I had tried to use a different method, I would have run out. Oh well, it's done *bounce*

On another note - my bum is numb from sitting hemming for the last couple of hours. Just FYI :)
