Evening of Okay Screwed-upness
Oct. 31st, 2003 10:43 amLast night when leaving the house to go to practice I broke my key in the lock. Our lock has been a bit sticky and I guess I'm stronger than I thought. Luckily mom came home and managed to get it out with pilers, something I had failed at. This morning I have already gotten a new key copy (using mom's key) and I'll be calling the apartment managers later. I hate calling them, but so does mom and it's my turn to do it.
To add to the fun last night, when I got to practice (amazingly on time) I realized I forgot something - my contacts. Thus, I got to skate blind. Luckily, there was only 7 people at practice, and we did a ton of form drills, so it's wasn't too bad.
So basically everything screwed-up last night, but it was okay too.
Tonight is "fun dress-up and candy night" (wheee!!!!!!!). I'll be going to the rink from 7 to 10, as it looks like there's no way I get out of there even vaguely early since the pie throw isn't until 9:30. After that I'm headed over to World's End to actually party, as opposed to rolling around, chatting with the kids on my team while in costume.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
hirtzenocker and companion will be arriving before I leave, as they are crashing at my place before heading to an SCA event this weekend. That's about it, I still have lots to do to get ready for tonight, so off I go.
