Car Better
Dec. 26th, 2003 11:45 amIt was the timing belt. So, my car is now fixed and I am $900 poorer (I also had a water pump leak and a few other bit and bobs fried). I got lucky, it I'd been going above 40mph when it went I could have done engine damage, but I wasn't, so I didn't.
Christmas was good - more on that later, At the moment I'm once again starting the mad job hunt. I got rejected by the ACLU, not even an interview. Can't say I'm not disappointed (getting the rejction letter Christmas Eve didn't help either). Frankly, I would have been good at that job. Either i missed something in the description, or they thought I was overqualified. Feh. Oh well. Monday I have an interview at a clinic here in Burien that I think would be neat to work at, so hopefully THAT goes well.
