Well this weekend (and the week before it) was a vast improvement over the Regionals-weekend-from-hell. The rundown is as follows

Wednesday- I had my interview with the Red Cross. I think it went really well. They seemed to like the fact that I don't mind office work and that I was early to the intreview (I'm paranoid). I'll know in about 2 weeks if I got the job, but I'm not going to be too hopeful. "Expect the worst, hope for the best." I had an adventure after the interview trying to get from the Rainer Valley to the south end. Damm construction.

Thursday- Practice rocked. Chuck was coaching since Francine was with the girls at swimming or some such, so we did the "Chuck special" for warm-up instead of the 75 Laps of Doom. Variety is a good thing.

Friday- Went out with Marci and had much fun. She really should have company in Bed Bath and Beyond. Otherwise there would be much spending of money. I decided that my new comic box is going to be in Golden Age at Pike Place. I like their terms MUCH better that Zanadu's and I can make it down there every couple of weeks even after I move. mmmmmm comicness.

Practice was, well, practice-like. I just feel really off skating and I have a bunch of bad habits that are revisiting me. It blows. I figure if I can just work through it it will be all good though. My back is still bugging me and I'm begining to think that, car problems aside, I'll drive up to B'ham to see everyone on Saturday.

Saturday- I was a bum until around 3:00, laying in bed and reading with occasional cartoon breaks. Practice was from 4:30 until 6:00 and went amazingly well until my back started bugging me again, halfway trough Swedish Smile. Ick.

After a 45 minute drive home, due to Viaduct closure I decided that B'ham sounded like a very nice idea, especially since I could skate with Burlington (and Oak Harbor) on Sunday morning. Southgate's next practice isn't until Thursday, so the extra workout would be good. I packed up and headed north.

The drive up was hell, since the car decided to try to overheat. I am sooo getting that fixed, I just need the money. Once I got there though, it was all good. Nothing like feeling you've been missed to give you an ego boost. I got to chat with Tamara which is never a bad thing along with seeing all the 'Hamsters such as Tenayle, Bryce, and Steve. I also got to meet a few new people, which is always interesting (at least when I am in a place I'm comfy in). Best of all, I got Darell to put my back into place. It feels sooooo good. *happy dance*

The only bad note was my blood sugar crashing out and me not noticing. I had to get Brian to drive me to Haggen, since I was shaking so bad I didn't trust myself to drive. Boy did I feel dumb. I had been downing so much water that I just didn't notice my body was low on calories. This could get very annoying.

Sunday- slept in the car , which was pretty comfy, than headed to practice bright and early. It was nice to see everyone and to change up the practice routine. Headed to home and some bumming around.

Monday- sitting in the library doing this. God I need a job (then I can get an ISP)Waiting is the worst part of this whole thing.
