The whole house is sick. I skipped ballet (3rd time this week), in order to get more sleep. Nothing horrid, but it makes me want to do nothing. Problem is I have stuff to do. Chiropractor appointment, bike shopping, plants to put in the ground.

Last night, I bought new curtains for the den. The label says "Khaki", but it's not as bad as it sounds. Frankly, they work in the room and let more light in. The couches in the room are so dark, they need something to counter them. The next step for the den is a new (narrower) coffee table and the possible replacement of the older futon. I love how the colors of this room just picked themselves (i.e. based on what Sean owned when we moved in) and are ones that I would have NEVER picked on my own. Really.

I'm going bak to watching "The Addams Family" and contemplating the removal of my sinuses.

I'd recommend checking out Underhill's Furniture for solid inexpensive coffee tables; I got mine from there, and it's nice and plain, didn't cost an arm and a leg, and is quite solid.

That, or IKEA.

Thanks. We actually hit Ikea this afternoon and Sean found something he really liked. Now he has a project for this evening :)
