Life Update
Aug. 2nd, 2001 11:25 pmWell it looks like I may be keeping the job I have right now. For some bizarre reason these people like me and want to keep me around even though I've only been there about 2 weeks and have very little experience doing medical stuff.
This is a good thing. Not only is it a job in an easily accessable area (downtown) but I think I'm really beginning to like it. Yes it gets dull, but it's kinda cool getting to be the smiley front desk person and getting to put the smack down as far as paperwork goes.Plus it's nice and quiet most of the time and you can practically see when busy times come just by looking at the schedule book. Not always though, so I stay on my toes. A good job I think. Not what I thought I'd be doing but good none the less.
I'm probably headed out to Belllingham this weekend, provided Joe doesn't become a flake. (hint hint). Should be nice to see the town of many winds and all the people therein. Plus 24 hours w/o my mother is never a bad thing.
Time for bed now. I have a job interview which I intend on showing up for in a cursory manner tomorrow at 8:00, so to bed I go. Enjoy the weekend one and all.
