Dancing fool

Went to the Mercury with Joe last night to see the ladies of Corva, who came down from B'ham for the evening. Seeing Tenayle, Bev, and Erin, as well as Bjorn was nifty. Overall the evening was a fun one and I stayed out waaaay past my bedtime. This was shown by the fact that I actually fell asleep in the club for a few minutes. I tried to dance some but my calf muscles are having a huge moment and are causing me some grief. The upside to this was that the pain has reminded me of one thing I had intended on doing once I moved back to Seattle and got a job, which was start taking dance classes again.

For those who don't know, I spent winter quarter 2001 at Western taking a Ballet class, which I really enjoyed. I then spent spring quarter taking both Ballet and Modern Dance and enjoyed myself hugely. Dancing is fun. It's a ton of work, but it's fun and I am now looking into finding a place where I can continue with this variety of fun. The pain in my calves reminded me of this. Warped but true… Now it's time for a epsom salt bath.

One a sad note, Mr. Rodgers taped his last show on Friday. At least he shall live on in re-runs forever. A world without Mr. Rodgers would be a sad, sad place.
