3 Doors Down "Kryptonite" just came on, reminding me of Southgate. Chuck absolutely loves this song and has been known to try and play it for entire practices. It usually got played at least once every few practices, depending on who was running them. It's an amazingly good song to skate to.

If I close my eyes I can almost see the rink, our silly blue floor, my favorite niche to sit in, throwing myself through the upper corner trying to get as much power as possible out of it. It'll be nice to be back.

Funny you should say that you were thinking about Southgate. I thought about you, and I took myself down there to visit a few old memories. Seattle, and the rink, just are not the same without you here. But the missing piece to the picture I saw at the rink, will be there soon enough again.
