Found out this morning that the Cowboy Junkies are playing Benaroya on August 7th, I'm kind of hoping I get a job before the tickets sell out so that I can go. That is one band I would love to see live. Besides I figure there should be no occurrences of moshpitness at a Cowboy Junkies show, I mean it's the Junkies for gods sake! mmmmm neat music in place with good acoustics.

Salome and Nathan's wedding is tomorrow. I can't believe another one of my friends is getting married. This needs to stop. The people I have known the longest are all growing up. Children, marriage, houses (in no particular order). Tends to make one feel left out in the cold, with your piece of paper and large amounts of debt. Isolation and no job blows. At least the wedding is a really good reason not to go to practice. Since most of the team is invited, practice is going to be dead.

Went to dinner with Jaime and Eliza last night. It was good to see people who are not my mother. She's a wonderful lady but after a few weeks.....

My room is almost together, it is almost my space as opposed to the teenaged-Kyna space. Cloth on the wall can cover almost anything I've decided, and since I'm no longer scared to put pin-holes in the walls, it's all good.

Time to go hassle the temp agency.
