trilliumgrl: Me, putting on make-up before the wedding (Kyna doll)
Some morning are meant for doing the "proper thing". This was one of those mornings. My alarm was set for 6, but I don't remember turning it off. I woke properly at 8:30 (skipping practice yet again) showered, dressed (back skirt, grey tank top, black shawl) and went out to buy my newspaper a cappuccino and croissant. Then I came home and made scrambled eggs with mushrooms green onion and cheese. I sat, ate my breakfast, read my paper and chatted with random flatmates coming through the kitchen. Somehow it was the right thing to do, not perfect, just "proper".

Today will proceed much like yesterday - type notes for a couple hours, break for an hour or so for food and reading, then continue typing. The goal is to get at least 1/2 of my DV 400 notes polished off today.

Leaving the house is for wimps.

The title says it all. For years a reporter at the New York Times has been falsifying reports in a grand and glorious manner. The amount of egg on their face is stunning, as is how exactly it happened - basically no one was talking to each other in the newsroom.
Wow.
