Still Sick....
Sep. 25th, 2006 09:12 pmTurns out the doctor fouled up on my RX - the antibiotics are supposed to be taken twice a day, not once. The pharmacist thought it was a little odd, but since I didn't say anything, thought it was okay (I was completely out of it). I took a few days to notice that I had enough pills for a 4-week (rather than 2-week) run, called the pharmacist, who checked the script, which said once a week. I called the doctor this morning and yup, it was supposed to be a 2 not a 1. No wonder I still feel icky. Somehow I am sure that the 3.5 hour meeting this afternoon helped with my current "great" feeling, but the 1/2 dose of antibiotics can't be very damm useful. I am now to the point where surgery sounds REALLY good, if they can promise that the endless rounds of feeling like crap will end. Cheekbones should not hurt all the time and I really hate that my brain translates "sinus headache" to "semi-migraine".
On the plus side, I made a very good honey cake with crystllised ginger in it that earned raves from co-workers and I survived a 4-person ballet class. I am sweaty but alive. We have ballet tickets for Friday and I may get to go to a training Thursday on Tax Credit compliance. Life is not all bad, but damm, my sinuses hurt.
