So Much to Do....
Sep. 5th, 2003 05:39 pmWell it still doesn't seem real that I'm leaving on Sunday. My room is very clean, but not yet packed and won't be until tomorrow. I still need to call and book a cab and call and see how much BA will charge me for being over a piece of luggage as opposed to the estimate I have from Excess Baggage Company. It looks like I'll be spending some quality time in Heathrow since the only response I've gotten to my "want to share a cab?" signs was a girl who needs to be there by 8am. That's 2 hours earlier than I really wanted to be there (my flight leaves at 2:30) but I'll happily go early so I can split the cab fare. I'll have several books in my bag and I can always people watch.
Today I ran to Tesco in the morning for supplies (oranges, vitamins, gum, batteries) had a nap then I went to LSE, returned a book, paid my fines and met up with Jules and Tom. Jules turned in her dissertation today, while Tom is still freaking about his and being sad over a girl he wants to date but can't :( . Also ran into Stephanie, Anna, and Maria and got to say goodbye to their panicked selves, as well as Dan, who just finished up and joined Jules and I in the Tuns for a drink (my last pint there *sniff*). Stopped on the way home to get a picture of St. Mary Magdalene's churchyard, and now I'm eating diner and killing time before my last night dancing at Full Tilt. One of the places I will definitely miss in London.
Back to embracing my slack now.
