Wow, thanks
Sep. 12th, 2003 11:57 amThank you for all the well wishes on my return. Since my last update I've been doing - stuff. Thursday I bummed around, read the Sunday classified, made some phone calls (including finding out that for once it's not MY fault the insurance went up), scheduled with the temp agency and the chiro for next week, and worked on updating my general purpose resume. I still need to do the more focused ones, but that can wait a bit. Had lots of people call me, which was lovely and somewhat shocking. Actually got quite a bit done, so I'm proud of myself. Now if I would just clean my room....
Today I drove for the first time in nearly a year. Just went to the library (in order to print a resume and use the 'net) but I'm very proud of myself. Might even stop at Trader Joe's on the way home to get a snack. Tonight I'm heading to downtown to see Once Upon A Time in Mexico with Kat and all sorts of others. Should be fun. I"m going to take the bus for that though, since I don't fancy parallel parking my not-so-small car quite yet OR paying to park. Besides, buses are fun.
That's about it. I" have 15 minutes left on here today, so I'm going to try and skim my Friends List. I love the KCLS. mmmmm free internet and printing.
