2 Hours I'll Never Regain
Nov. 10th, 2003 04:03 pmToday the government mandated that I go to a "Job Seekers Orientation". What a bloody joke. The first hour was about job-retraining money, something I'm not really interested in nor eligible for. The second hour was almost as useless. In fact the only advantage was that the class was supposed to be three hours, but they cut our breaks so we could get out earlier. Overall it was torture.
The bright spot was that I got another interview, as well as now having my "To Do List" for the week started (hey it kept me awake). The interview is for a medical receptionist at an occupational therapy clinic in Tukwila, though I have to drive to Bothell for the interview. We shall see. For now, I'm heading home (at dad's now) to change my wheels and head to practice in Auburn, where the heating system works and I might be able to breathe.
