Small Update
Jan. 22nd, 2004 09:42 amWent to Rsuty for Saturday and Sunday this past weekend. Relaxing, but also a bit hectic, as I had to leave con to go to practice. Still it was nice to see all sorts of people I hadn't seen for over a year. Sean was at one point referred to as a "lovely piece of arm jewelry" by a merchant, which just tickled me pink. Must say though, he did look quite nice.
I've been back at work now for 3 day, the first (Monday) being nothing but painting and meetings. I'm starting to get back int he swing of things, though honestly it feels like a time warp - I keep trying to write "02" when I date things that I faxed out. Silly Kyna.
In other news I just had to lay out more money on my car, lots more. The brakes were in a state and since I can't afford a new car yet and I need a vehicle, fix it I did. Of course now I have to call and yell at the auto shop because the car is making nasty noises it wasn't making before. For as much of my money as they got, I should not be hearing squealing when I accelerate.
Last night was good. I felt like crap when I came home, between hormones, the car, and life, but hugs, Chinese food ala mom, and "Angel" fixes lots of things.
That's the shorts version. I"m stealing net time before work, so now I'm going to toddle off and earn some bread. Yipeeee.
