Since my last entry I've gone to Bellingham, and seen some of the lovely people there (and their BIG kiities). While there I gave a lame speech, ate yummy pizza, watched hockey, chatted, had two (!) apple pies baked in my presence, and generally had a good time. I came home with a new pentacle, since mine went missing, and two bottles of Honey Run mead. I came home Friday night and tried to watch Cats with Jen, but fell asleep insted (sorry!).
On Saturday I went up to Cap Hill with Sean, so he could buy his Halloween costume. Then, we went to Minnies where I had tomato-basil soup, which I adore. After that I attended practice, then spending the rest of the evening with mum, roasting marshmallows, watching ballet movies and generally being lazy.
Today I lazed about, read the classified, went to practice for an hour and now I'm at dad's where I've sent off a resume,a nd printed two more cover letters. Now I'm off to do some mailings, and get supplies for my Halloween costume. After that, who knows?
As a note - I still hate being unemployed ;)

Date: 2003-10-12 05:37 pm (UTC)However I'm not sure if the solution that Joe and I used to solve that problem would be the best for you.
All though I can see you as a very weird and misfitted 2nd lieutenant in perhaps intell or foriegn area officer or something like that.
Hellingbam is cool when you don't live there and dosn't deserve half the ridicule some of us give it.
Pizza, hockey, apple pie, and sleep are all very good things to be involved with.
Cap Hill is pretty cool. However I read an article in the Times last week about the heroin problem in reservoir park. In one hour people were able to gather a large pile of drug paraphernalia.

Date: 2003-10-13 10:46 am (UTC)As for drugs in Cap Hill *giggles uproariously* they've ALWAYS been there. Every once in a while someone gets their panties in a bunch, but nothing gets done because there's no money for treatment, and they don't want the junkies in THEIR neighborhoods.

Date: 2003-10-13 12:34 am (UTC)It was wonderful seeing you, I hadn't realized how much I missed you until I saw you in person. We have to get together more often -- you're welcome up here any time you like, and James and I are making an effort to be more social, which means we're going to try to get down to your neck of the woods more often.
Bah I'm tired. G'night
