Exciting Morning

Slept in till 8am today, having had a practice run 30 minutes late last night and just generally feeling blah. I was about halfway through breakfast when mom called (our phone works again!), asking me to retrieve her from work because she was throwing up. So, I threw on some shoes and a sweatshirt and in my leopard-print PJ bottoms went over and got her. Came home, tucked her into bed and then watched some La Femme Nikita with the cat (who we have by the way named Hermes). Then, I tucked him in with mom and came to the library, applied for a job and did computery stuff.

Seeing as I've had enough excitement for the day I'm going to run a few errands and then sit at home and nurse this incoming cold. I've already decided that practice is a bad idea, especially as it is in Auburn, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do tonight, though sleep and that pile of books seems like a good start.
