It was a lovely, lazy weekend, where I really accomplished nothing. Friday, Sean and I went out to Vince's for pasta due to his hunger and my hyperactivity from no food and a gingerbread latte. I was so hyper that before Sean showed up I not only did 2 loads of laundry and folded laundry as well. I tidied my room and got rid of a paper-box full of recyclables (Speed Skating Times from 1994 anyone?) Yeah I was kind of wired. Usually I kill that kind of energy in practice, but between leaving my skates at home and missing my bus because I had to get money and change, I couldn't make it.
Saturday involved staying in bed late (mmmm cuddles), buying ingredients for beef stew (though I forgot the beef and we had to go back to the store!), and lazying about. Started the stew before we left for practice and thanks to mom's help throwing things in at the right time there was dinner when we came home nearly 2 hours later. Had stew then we headed to Renton and saw Finding Neverland, which I enjoyed. Then it was home for ice cream and more cuddles. See a pattern here with me?
Sunday was much the same with a quickie run to Trader Joe's tossed in before practice. This was accompanies with both Sean and I realizing that we forgot to turn our phones back on after the movie. I missed a text. He missed a server outage so, he ran over to the library to fix it. Then he took me to practice, where having forgot to put my contacts in, I had to skate blind. Makes me remember why I got contacts. Came home and have napped and bummed around since then. Yes, I am a lazy little thing at heart.
Lesson learned (or remembered) this weekend:
Doing PT before skating = pain
Though PT is supposed to help, it hurts
Johnny Depp is a talented hottie
seanb is a wonderfully sweet man
