The first issue of The Dark Knight Strike Again came out last week. I read it today and it bloody ROCKS. If you have not read Dark Knight Returns (shame!) I would suggest reading that first, but beyond that you need not have read anything else.
So far one of the best parts has been learning why (as one of the guys at Golden Age put it) "why Superman became such a super tool." At least now I have a little sympathy for him, though he's still a putz. Plus there were a couple very nice drawings of Wonder Woman. I can't wait for the next installment. (Yes I am a crack monkey). Frank Miller is a god.
