Moving the Family

Today was a family day. Got up, did the usual thing and then headed out to help Elflet move. It was supposed to be a job of a few hours. Fat chance. We just fully finished up about 30 minutes ago, though I was let got at about 3:30ish in order to continue my job hunt. I got pulled back on duty an hour or so because we needed another car to move out the last few bits. At least it is finally done and the whole sordid little chapter of my brother's life is done with (the only words you really need to know - "psycho bitch"). I also got a resume emailed out and two more ready to be mailed out. One of them is for the ACLU, which would be amazing if I landed it. So, now I'm going to head home since Hermes has been alone since mom took off at noon. He'll be lonely by now.

Tomorrow I'm looking at maybe heading to Renton to do some job hunting and then I have a Chiro appointment at 4:30, so I'm thinking of just driving downtown. Oh, the beauty of validated parking :)
