What I thought about during Lunch....
Jul. 30th, 2001 07:30 pmsince I was without a book (stupid me)was to write an LJ entry to post up now. So here goes...
*flashback to noon today*
Anyone want to come to the Cowboy Junkies concert with me? They're playing Benaroya Hall next Tuesday (August 7th) at 8:00PM. The tickets are either $24 or $29.50, depending on your seat preferences. I'm considering going and was wondering if anyone else was interested.
For those who do not know the Cowboy Junkies are a rock band that has a lot of folk, blues, country and other influencs. They are generally pretty mellow-sounding but they have some great lyrics and are generally pretty cool. You might have heard their version of "Sweet Jane", since it got some radio airplay and was on the soundtrack for Natural Born Killers.
I have never seen them live and am pretty psyched since the show is not yet sold out. So, is anybody intrested?
*flashforward to now*
If anyone is interested get a hold of me. I'm working right by Benaroya and can pick up tickets on my lunch hour. So give me a call, or reply to this post.
