Farscape and Stuff
Aug. 4th, 2001 07:45 pmI watched the latest ep of Farscape "Infinite Possibilities Part 2: Icarus Abides". Dammmm is the only thing I can really say. Once again, the one thing you did not want to happen, happens but it was done so brilliantly so that you can't really hold it against the Powers That Be of Farscape. Not only was the episode well written, directed, and acted, but this now opens the way for much complexity as the season begins to wide up. Such a good show. Farscape really is crack. Space opera at its finest. Yummy
Tenayle’s and Bev’s new apartment rocks. The apartment has big bedrooms, a real kitchen, and more than one toilet. Very cool. Seeing all the ‘hamsters was also very cool. While Seattle has many advantages I am kind of missing the sense of community in Bellingham, amazingly enough. I don’t really mind being an island unto myself until I have the other options pointed out to me. Plus the idea of being able to quickly get from point A to B in my car is nice sounding right about now.
Hung out with Joe and Bjorn, which was also cool. I haven’t seen either them for a while, plus Joe has now introduced me to the neat Goth industrial music shop on Cap Hill that I didn’t know about, since I never leave my house. :) I’m going to see if they can order me some Sins of Thy Beloved CDs, because I think that particular band is neat (lots of strings, I love strings). So far not a bad weekend.
